How exclusive is the Seal of Satisfaction?

The Seal of Satisfaction is a federally registered certification mark with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and Seal recipients are an elite group of companies who have committed to uphold the highest standards of business excellence represented by the Seal of Satisfaction.

The Seal of Satisfaction certification mark represents the highest standard of business excellence and customer satisfaction that allows consumers to call Seal recipient companies with confidence.

An independent research firm conducts the nomination survey process with local consumers, who nominate professional services businesses based on customer satisfaction and business excellence. Based on designated evaluation criteria and stringent quality requirements, they provide Services Select with the certified, pre-qualified list of finalist companies for consideration for the Seal of Satisfaction certification mark and award.

Services Select conducts an evaluation review and interview with finalist companies. The Seal of Satisfaction recipients complete the "Seal of Satisfaction Certification Standards Questionnaire" and agree to uphold Services Select's high standards of business excellence and customer satisfaction. Once receiving the Seal, each Seal of Satisfaction recipient company must be re-nominated and go through the entire evaluation procedure again before being extended the invitation to maintain the Seal for the following year.

From over 70 professional service company categories, the evaluation and interview process is conducted. The evaluation and interview process includes, but is not limited to, review of each company’s systems for hiring, training, on-going training, policies & procedures, documentation of issues, and follow-up/resolution procedures of issues prior to a company receiving the invitation to receive the Seal of Satisfaction certification mark and award in their professional services category. The Seal of Satisfaction symbolizes a true commitment to business excellence and consumer satisfaction by the Seal recipient companies.
